Americans Blamed for Killing of Saddam's Lawyer
By Sharon Hughes

A day after our U.S. military recovered the bodies of two missing American soldiers, and after eight months of one of the most unbelievable, and dare I say, obnoxious, trials of our day, Iraqi police reported that one of Saddam Hussein's lawyers was shot to death after he was abducted from his home by men in police uniforms.
Saddam Hussein and his seven co-defendants, who are charged with crimes against humanity, specifically for arresting hundreds of Shiite men, women and children, torturing some to death and killing a total of 148 in Dujail in 1982, have gone on a hunger strike to protest Khamis al-Obeidi's death 'until international protection is given to the defence team,' according to Saddam's top lawyer, Khalil al-Dulaimi.
Al-Dulaimi blames Iraq's Interior Ministry and the United States for al-Obeidi's death, as the AP quotes: "We strongly condemn this act and we condemn the killings done by the Interior Ministry forces against Iraqis." He also said U.S.- led forces bore responsibility as well because the war has allowed Shiite militias to gain influence in Iraq. Sunnis allege the Interior Ministry has been infiltrated with Shiite death squads.
While the prosecution presented its final arguments this week, demanding the death penalty for the former dictator, and his attorney used the killing of al-Obeidi as an occasion to blame America, the murdered attorney was actually one of about a dozen killings in one of several recent mass abductions. It is not evident that he was killed because he was Saddam's lawyer.
We have to be real. Of course, Saddam Hussein’s lawyer is going to blame America. It common practice. What’s obnoxious is when Americans blame America…just listen and you’ll hear it.
Terrorist Indoctrination
in the U.S.
By Sharon Hughes

With the death of one of the most brutal terrorists, al-Zarqawi, and the discovery of his operations in the United States this past week, heightened concern regarding such news has given a new platform to those who have been warning of such dangers all along.
This week I had Terrorism expert, Erick Stakelbeck, on the show who told about the disturbing things he witnessed and heard while interviewing one of the top Muslim clerics in Michigan, which validated concerns of terrorist activities inside America. You can still hear this important show online HERE.
And next week, on June 20, 2006, 3 ex-terrorists, including, Walid Shoebat who has been on the show several times, will kick off a nation-wide campaign in Philadelphia, PA with an exclusive viewing of film footage exposing growing terrorism in the U.S. They will also convey their life experience, tell why they were terrorists, and give insight into the real causes of terrorism.
While the U.S. seeks to target Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's successor, terrorism indoctrination within the U.S. continues to flourish at an alarming rate. These three former terrorists will present evidence of long standing extremist operations that are festering here in the U.S. One of the former terrorists will discuss the training he received by his mentor, who is featured in the film.
The exclusive footage, produced by The Investigative Project, Steve Emerson’s counter-terrorism organization, includes: A commemoration of the martyrdom of Abdullah Azzam, the mentor of Osama bin Laden. A detailed report by a masked Hamas commander on his squad's killings and assassinations. A lecture by the head of a terrorist group to a packed audience, (including small children), calling for them to chop off the heads of "unbelievers." And a Friday night sermon addressing an audience of American children on the nobility of killing.
For more information, see 3x-terrorists where you can view video clips.
A Must: You can get Steve Emerson's shocking investigative video, Terrorists Amoung Us HERE. I highly recommend it.
Journalists Applaud
Al-Zarqawi’s Death
By Sharon Hughes

Having vowed loyalty to Osama bin Laden in 2004 and orchestrating what the Washington Post calls the bloodiest suicide bombings of the insurgency, beheading hostages and slaughtering thousands if Iraqis in order to incite a civil war with the goal of driving America’s presence out of Iraq, al-Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. airstrike along with his spiritual advisor, Sheik Abdul Rahman, on Wednesday.
Iraqis provided the intelligence and U.S. forces conducted 17 raids culminating in a target hit on the most-wanted militant terrorist leader, who had the same U.S. bounty on his head as Osama bin Laden - $25 million.
His identity was confirmed by fingerprints, and when Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki announced al-Zarqawi’s death loud applause broke from Iraqi journalists.
What? Journalist applauding the news? Think about it. Iraqi journalists broke out in loud applause at the news of al-Zarqawi’s death! Did American journalists do the same when President Bush announced the news? Or in another venue? Nope.
The Left’s talk show hosts were off the chart on the news. As pointed out by Tim Graham at Newsbusters:
“I caught some of the opening minutes of the Stephanie Miller show today (on Air America). They were playing clips of the Rose Garden Bush remarks and just mocking his accent. "He's extra-twangy today," mocked Miller. The show's impressionist started doing Bush in a William Buckley-esque Connecticut accent, implying the Texas talk is all phony. Then they began joking "we're auditioning for a new boogey-man," as if Zarqawi was a phantom in a closet.”
And on his way home from work he caught Randi Rhodes on the same channel, who clearly is in the running for the most biased, blind, complete spin-off-the-planet comments!
“Hoo boy. She was saying Zarqawi was our boy, someone we protected in the no-fly zone from Saddam Hussein, and then used as an excuse for war. A few minutes later, she complained it was a "sick, psychotic" day for news, and said the rulers of America were "imperialistic, hegemonistic....dictators."
Unbelievable! The days that follow I’m sure will find more liberal ‘reasoning’ to why catching this mass murderer of the Iraqi people and our troops is no big deal. Just watch.
