Last week, Arab Knesset Member Wasal Taha, admitted he continually advised PA terrorists to combat and kidnap Israeli soldiers.
With all that the tiny Jewish State has opposed to it, does it really need a fifth column?
This admission further undergirds legislation that was submitted last week by MK Zevulun Orlev (National Religious Party), to prohibit Knesset membership to MKs who support terrorists. But I think the legislation should go further...
Taha's statements are treasonous and he should be arrested and prosecuted for sedition, if Israeli law allows.
This lone democracy, surrounded by anti-Semitic, bloodthirsty enemies on every side, cannot afford to have another group of adversaries within their own government, attempting to undermine their liberty and sovereignty.
The Knesset must approach this issue with gravity: There are enough enemies without, don't allow them within.

The current situation in Gaza, created by the terrorist thugs known as Hamas, has revealed a quality in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) that is similar to that of the U.S. Armed forces: Gracious strength.
Their righteous outrage for the terror attacks upon innocent Israeli citizens and the kidnapping of one of their soldiers has caused the type of response that can only be called honorable. As I write this, they are seeking out members of Hamas, targeting those with innocent blood on their hands and arresting culpable PA government officials. But, simultaneously, they have decided to open a crossing, previously used by terrorists to enter Israel, to bring humanitarian aid to the 'palestinian' people. This is reminiscent of the actions of the U.S. military wherever they are called to defend us. Seeking out murderers, while bringing aid to the innocent.
These actions reflect the Character found in the G-d of Israel: Gracious strength. The only kind to emulate... |
