About Debra

Debra Rae is an author and teacher who has lived and traveled abroad extensively both as a child and with her husband covering Africa, Asia, East and West Europe, North and South Americas. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Iowa, a Master of Education degree from the University of Washington, a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Ministries degree from Pacific School of Theology.

Her work spans pre-school through adult education, including special education and ESL, and teaching at the American School of Kuwait. Debra is an Initiated Fellow, President’s Circle (Seattle Pacific University, 1993); Patron of Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute(1998)and a Member of Concerned Women of America. Additionally, she was Corporate secretary of S-SOS toward coordinating local disaster-related efforts with FEMA, Washington state, Seattle Parks Department, and is a registered Emergency Services Responder (Sheltering and Special Needs) for the state of Washington (SDART, October 2001).

She has authored two books, the ABCs of Globalism, and ABCs of Cultural-Isms, which was highlighted at the 55th Annual CBA International Convention in 2004. A speaker and writer she has been the guest on numerous radio shows aired across the nation, the Western Hemisphere, Russia, and the Middle East. Debra joins Sharon and Audrey Russo from Washington State on Fridays for WOMANTalk, a special edition of Changing Worldviews TALK Radio.
